Who Are P.A.I.N?

P.A.I.N are a London based Dub punk band who formed as a result of a collaboration of various members of Two bands. RDF and AOS3. Combining the Anarcho Dub Reggae stuff the both bands were accustomed to, but with a sharper edge of Punk Rock, they fused a bit of Punk, Ska, Dub n reggae to create their ow unique sound.

The Propaganda And Information Network or P.A.I.N as the band is officially called, started out as a brief experiment but quickly took off. As soon as they formed, the band managed to book a Three week tour with a live demo ‘Prison is No Place for Punishment’ at the end of it. However, The Group released their First Studio Album ‘Oh My God, We’re Doing It’ in 1995.

P.A.I.N went on to release their Second Album ‘Our Universe Commences Here (OUCH)’ in 2001 on Vinyl. Although, this was rereleased on Digital Download on the 30th of September 2016. They went on to re-release the albums Track ‘Grow More Weed’ in 2003. However, this version had the help of the legendary dope smuggler, Howard Marx.

But, P.A.I.N are still going strong, although they’ve had a few alterations in the line up over the years. But they always play a handful of Festivals and a stack of gigs each year. The bands latest album ‘Crisis Time’ was released on the 15th of November 2024.
